Does Checkout.com have any sort of mentoring programme?

Pros

- Intelligent and driven colleagues - who get you through most days - An exciting product and company growth - IT and Home office schemes

Cons

- Long long hours and unmanageable workload - if you don't work late you won't achieve your deadlines - Lack of care for employees and their mental health - Unhappiness throughout the business, that isn't being addressed - Training and development is encouraged but no support or time invested to get you there, instead they just replace with another level of management - Failure to address the core issues and instead they try to sugar coat them with a range of initiatives - Communication and management of change is poor - The solution to problems is just hiring and adding more people into the mix

How do employees feel about their professional development opportunities at Checkout.com?

Pros

Since I started at Checkout.com, I have had endless opportunities to learn, develop and grow my current skill set, as well as work on multiple projects that are outside the realm of my day-to-day job. This has added variety and depth to my current role and has been fully supported and encouraged along the way. Another thing that I love about Checkout.com is that regardless of title, you are encouraged to share your ideas, think outside of the box, try new things and challenge the status quo. I feel lucky to work for such a people-focused, forward-thinking, cohesive and inclusive company who adhere to their values. Would highly recommend!

Cons

Not really a con, but turbocharged growth comes with its own challenges such as changeability.

Advice to Management
