Does there seem to be diversity at Checkout.com?

Pros

Incredible diversity and inclusion, modern tools and perks, great offices, corporate image.

Cons

Impersonal, internal opacity, micro management, many divas, management by department confrontation, lack of discretion

Advice to Management

Respect of new objective structure without CEO buddies Less drama driven management More transparency internally

How is race or ethnicity talked about at Checkout.com?

Pros

The company attempts to put in place a culture based on pure meritocracy. There are opportunities to grow when supported by the right people.

Cons

The people team is oblivious to harassment and racist behaviors by managers as they seem to prioritize business needs to employee well-being. Processes are defined but not respected. There is more and more politics involved as the company is growing. This company will not hesitate to unfairly dismiss you and attempt to protect themselves from a lawsuit. This is a true capitalistic company, where profit matters much more than people.

Advice to Management

Make sure to assess people's character when recruting them.
