Does Circle Internet Financial offer unlimited holiday?

Pros

Smart and passionate people, good benefits and time off policy. Easy to get ahead if you work with the right people

Cons

- Poor management and unprofessional behavior, even for a start-up company. - Dishonest leadership. The values and direction of the company constantly change, which is understandable for a start up, but just be honest with your employees instead of making the company out to be something it's really not. - Poor work/life balance. Although there is an unlimited PTO policy, there is a lot of push back and judgement from management. I can't remember that last time I didn't have to be on email during my time off Many other reviews state the toxic environment and poor leadership - and its very accurate. It's disappointing to see an amazing company that continues to run itself into the ground by neglecting employee feedback and loyalty. Turnover is extremely high in recent months

Advice to Management

Really take into consideration the leadership that is hired. Over the past year, Circle has hired some extremely toxic leaders that only drive people to quit. Define your culture and values. Live by the values and treat others with respect. Listen to employee feedback and be transparent.

Smart and passionate people, good benefits and time off policy.

How are the career development opportunities at Circle Internet Financial?

Pros

I have been here long enough to remember the good times (Series E) through the hard times of late 2018 and 2019 and now, the rebirth of Circle of what it is today. The company has survived and been through lots of ups and downs. As such, it feels tremendously rewarding the exciting for this team that rode this out and got us here. Old and new employees are more values and mission oriented and connected which has helped alleviate working with types of folks I used to have to work with in the past. I do love what I do at Circle but it does come with some trade offs.

Cons

There are some employees who work lots of hours. Luckily COVID affords that option for me but I do not think it is something anyone can do for a sustained period of time nor should they need so. When the company becomes bigger and more successful, I hope there is a shift to hiring adequately so some employees do not need to work around the clock. We are growing very fast which is creating career opportunities but hiring too many people at once is certainly creating different pressure points.

Advice to Management

See con but also try to remain focus. This is an exciting and crazy time for the company but people can only do so much. On the flip side, I am appreciative of my opportunity at Circle and I wished more employees would voice their positive experiences here versus having to see one or two folks express their negative encounters here.
