What is a typical working day like at Coca-Cola European Partners?

Pros

This was a good contractual stint in many respects getting to know the business and working with some great professionals who were always willing to help. It's a fantastic place to work if you have the right team and support from your Manager which I was fortunate to have.

Cons

The other side of the coin, working next to people from different teams who are keen to observe and comment on how you should work despite not knowing anything about your individual deliverables. There is a definite dislike towards temporary staff all be in it, not initially. Certain cliques made this look like a late 90's university environment minus the good parts that come with that. Apparently if you play table football throughout the day and finish slightly late finish that's better than doing your hours, sitting at your desk all day and leaving on time. That said, there are people you can't stomach in most corporate environments which we just have to accept like a seasonal bug.

Advice to Management

Cut down the corporate away days, they're OK every so often but not when you don't want to share a space with some people more than necessity.

Does Coca-Cola European Partners have an on site gym?

Pros

Free company drink, gym and parking

Cons

Old style like the 80s. They can tell you are working for Real Madrid and you need to say thank you for that when the style is still blocked in the old way when they just ask you since the first day without explanation or any knowledge. The treatment that managers gives to their employees needs to improve a lot and do not get confuse THIS IS NOT COCA COLA, is another consultancy more...

Advice to Management

IT has been changed in the last year and they should take a look in the current way of working. People always expect that the managers knows a little bit about the team or technology they are managing...

What are meetings like at Coca-Cola European Partners?

Pros

Free drinks but too much waste of plastic Salary is ok compared to what you can have anywhere else Some flexibility depending on your manager Nice offices

Cons

No training plans. It is very difficult to get a useful course. Very poor management with a very old mindset. There are many people who have only worked at this company for over 20 years and their view is very narrow. Some bossy managers who never say please or thank you. They don't value you. Low skills at the management level. No collaboration between teams. HR department is useless. They are never able to help you. Compensation is quite different depending on where you are based. Too many meetings culture and no real work. No real Digital Transformation. The projects last for years and you get stuck without progressing. Some people working here think this is The Coca-Cola Company but it is just a bottler.

Advice to Management

There are too many Directors and Associate Directors but few people that actually can put themselves hands-on and have real knowledge about technology. Fire those who create trouble and have been for 20 years at the company by benefiting from others' work and manage people so badly because they don't understand the new generations and the new values.

Too many meetings culture and no real work.
