Does Computershare have any sort of mentoring programme?

Pros

Great training, environment, and great way to learn about processing claims

Cons

I was terminated unexpectedly with no explanation. They do not do what they promise new hires regarding letting you know if you're doing things wrong, coaching before termination

Advice to Management

Let people know if/when they are doing things wrong. Follow through on your word to coach people who have no indication that they are doing things wrong

How are promotions handled at Computershare?

Pros

Very busy, never a dull moment. Quality work you feel good about, and lots to learn

Cons

Stagnant, no upward mobility, a lot of unnecessary and prohibitive middle management that refuses to own up to mistakes or just generally troubleshoot. A lot of errors and time wasted that would have been prevented with competent project management or managing client expectations before passing the buck on to the team.

Advice to Management

Stop rewarding sycophants and try checking up on what your middle management is doing with their day, or whether or not they actually manage their teams effectively - they may be the reason why your actual employees who do the day-to-day work keep quitting.
