Does Cotswold Company offer parental leave?

Pros

*The growth potential is vast for the company! *Friendly work force *Fast paced & enjoyable - no 2 days are the same

Cons

*Benefits package poor, bare minimum provided. Needs to be reviewed. Health care/ Pension/Life Assurance/Maternity & Paternity - all need to be looked into for improvement *wages below national averages in some areas *unprofessional at times *Needs to invest in systems if wants the targeted growth *cross department communications are always challenging

Advice to Management

*stop looking at cheap short term fixes & aim for that bigger long term goal.

Does Cotswold Company offer employee discounts?

Pros

Not long worked at The Cotswold Company, however from my experience so far: - Other staff members couldn't be more helpful if you ever need assistance - Enjoyable environment to work in, fast-paced with new experiences every day - Plenty of benefits and bonuses after 3 months, such as employee discount etc - Smart/Casual attire around the office - Pastries on Tuesdays, lovely coffee machine, friday drinks - Doesn't have the typical office feel - Proud to work for The Cotswold Company

Cons

- Sometimes can get a little bit fast paced so have to have a system to help with this

Plenty of benefits and bonuses after 3 months, such as employee discount etc

Pros

Exciting workplace with never a dull day in the office Good career opportunities due to ongoing growth of the business Friendly atmosphere Nice head office Staff discounts on furniture

Can be stressful at times due to inevitable growing pains Communication between teams could be improved

What kind of career opportunities exist at Cotswold Company?

Pros

A great head office environment - good coffee, fruit etc. Inclusive culture where things like birthdays are celebrated. Peoples ideas are welcomed and listened to. CEO very approachable and keen to hear how things can improve.

Cons

As with many growing companies systems and processes could be better. The business is trying to improve but has grown rapidly. Inter-departmental working could be better.

Advice to Management

Keep close to the people as you get bigger.

How do employees feel about their professional development opportunities at Cotswold Company?

Pros

Great facilities at head office, friendly staff and good working environment. Good pay for my role. Company promotes from within, and employee training available. Discount on purchases, perkbox access and other employee perks. Weekly pastry day, barista grade coffee machine, fruit and occasional snacks, and beer/wine at the weekly Friday meeting.

Cons

Interdepartmental communication could be better. Fast paced workload and inevitable growing pains.

Advice to Management

Improve interdepartmental comms. Continue growing as a company but don’t lose sight of keeping staff happy.

Company promotes from within, and employee training available.
