What is health insurance like at Dentsu Aegis Network?

Pros

Dentsu can make this company great

Cons

Did not encourage career advancement and had no clear career path established. Frequently made salary increases based upon the country in which resides versus your actual country. If you live in Mexico but are a US citizen and working as a US citizen versus an international your increase is based on needs in Mexico. they have contracted with. one worked versus true job performance. One year I received a 5 cent (US) increase to my hourly rate. Despite having received the status of "Exceptional Performance" the value of my work was never rewarded financially. W2 employees are paid hourly, frequently have hours cut from 40 wk to 20 wk for months at a time and without notice. This would actually make them contracted. Employees are discouraged from seeking second sources of income as they could be required to take on full-time at any given moment. Seek other forms of health insurance as if your hours don't dip belove 24 hrs per week you will have the same deductions you had when at 40 hr. Schedules are at the whim of a single person. Working 9 days in a row, 1-2 days off, and back on for another 7 days straight is not uncommon. Departments are not well overseen. Supervisors within a single department will share information, form unhealthy alliances, and sabotage those under them in the service of their own teammate. Contracted employees are told not to charge what they make and to not speak to one another personally. That is against the law, ICUC. There is little meaningful training for those leading. To save the company money and to make sure they do not have to cover typical company benefits, ICUC adopted a policy of a 30 min lunch break. Thus, working 40 hrs a week is worthless as you will actually be paid for $37.50.

Advice to Management

ICUC management will not do better. Dentsu needs to up their game in managing this company.
