Pros

A lot of passionate employees and also a very diverse group. A lot of new great senior managers have been hired in the last year. Scale up with room for career development and also great experience to be part off. More and more structure and clarity around strategy is provided. If you are interested in joining a scale up with room for growth, flexibility and you are passionate about contributing to a zero emissions future this is a great place to be.

Cons

Some growing pains which are part of being in a rapidly growing company.

Advice to Management

Continue the current direction and for sure 2019 will be a strong(er) year!

Pros

If there was ever any doubt for me to work here, the past few months have removed that doubt. The company is energetic, plenty of room to grow, I have many new challenges and opportunities to keep me busy. My coworkers are fun, engaging and motivating, so every day is a new and exciting day.

Cons

You can tell it's a fast growing scale-up company, with the expected scale-up issues: There are new people joining every month, so looking for the specific person you need can change from week to week. Ownership of issues and responsibilities isn't always clear. And plans can change before you're even halfway done. But in the end, those are just challenges to overcome and be proud off when you do so :)

Advice to Management

Keep doing a great job of keeping people motivated. The move to a new HQ can be challenging, especially when it isn't clear who moves when or where. And the tight deadlines can sometimes be more frustrating and stressful than just challenging. Positive feedback and motivation is key when that happens, besides just making goals and expectations clear for those involved.

Pros

Nice people across all levels in the hierarchy Led by a strong vision Good work by HR & leadership in creating a positive, inclusive, and open culture Exciting industry Good opportunities for career progression/change of direction

Cons

Some growing pains because of rapid international expansion where different regions have different needs - Having worked with a couple of startups and scale-ups I don't think it is beyond what is normal though. A lot of people seem to work very hard, but for the most part this seems to be by choice and recognised e.g. with new career opportunities rather than that people are pressured into it.
