How are promotions handled at Edenhouse Solutions?

Pros

People, knowledge and exciting projects to work on that are real. Great opportunities to work in S4, SF and Cloud. You get out what you put in so it’s up to you to develop your own knowledge with training available however the opportunities are there if you want them. Great people with lots of knowledge and sharing culture. Everyone I have worked with so far on 3 projects has been friendly, approachable and knowledge on their topics. It isn’t for everyone but if you find your role and place as I have it’s a great place to work and develop

Cons

Change isn’t easy for everyone. Company needs to accept that and people need to not dwell as much in the past as they have. The future looks positive for all as long as balance of work and reward can be managed. There needs to be much more stability in the senior management team and far more promotions from within the company rather than consistently bringing in people who have no idea of the culture or industry.

Advice to Management

Be ready for growth and don’t over work people. Look at benefits and rewards

What is the feeling of job security at Edenhouse Solutions?

Pros

Generally knowledgeable, experienced staff. Good social activities. Company has a social team who do a great job.

Cons

This used to be an excellent company to work for but things have been slowly falling apart over the last few years. This came to a head earlier this year when a significant number of people were made redundant. As you can probably guess, this made people jumpy and some started to leave. In many cases they have not been replaced. As the company now has more work to do than people to do it, it is putting those why remain under pressure to do more, leading to more people leaving, which leads to more pressure and so on. At the moment, people are leaving at a rate of about one a week, some areas of the office are mostly empty and it has the air or a company that's dying. The board, who used to very approachable and involved, are now distant and their plan for the company is unclear and shrouded in marketing mumbo-jumbo.

Advice to Management

Remember how you used to lead the company and try to get back to that. Employee confidence is at an all time low. It's all very well talking about transforming the company, we know it needs to change to keep up, but people need to see practical actions taken, not empty statements. I really didn't want to write a negative review, I used to love working for this company, but now I think it's lost it's way.

How are senior leaders perceived at Edenhouse Solutions?

Pros

Honestly nothing - I really tried to think about something but came up with nothing. One good thing - the people (not leadership) are great.

Cons

Put people on furlough to help save jobs but then made most of those people redundant - sure that is not the reason furlough was introduced. Made long term loyal people redundant. Shocking leadership and shocking HR. about 1 month after making people redundant - advertised NEW roles.

Advice to Management

Just give up - you are bad at this.

How is management perceived at Edenhouse Solutions?

Pros

None - I would have given ZERO stars if I could.

Cons

Not enough gas in the tank to weather the storm of a downturn in business or the market. The employees have to suffer for this bad management. Bullied by SAP. Have lost their identity - or are about to - plus their unique selling point or the reason the company formed.

Advice to Management

Give up or sell up and stop destroying people's lives. Paul Solomon is a great entrepreneur but his NEW senior leadership have let him down - they just don't care.

The employees have to suffer for this bad management.
