Pros

Good progression to climb ladder, plenty of support when needed. Company car.

Can be stressful at times.

How are the career development opportunities at Europcar?

Pros

Reasonably good experience as a first job. Young team from several different backgrounds provided good inputs. Was able to understand how different departments worked and were connected.

Cons

There were no prospects of career advancement in the company and salaries reflected that. Instead of valuing experience of in-house employees, policy of reduced costs meant teams were constantly changing.

Advice to Management

To create incentives for employees to want to stay in the company more than 18 months or 2 years.

How are senior leaders perceived at Europcar?

Pros

Europcar has a great corporate culture and looks after their employees. They are industry leaders always putting the customer first.

Cons

Due to the ever so changing market and technology Europcar lags behind with implementing new Technologies and takes a while to filter through all Franchises and owned branches

Advice to Management

Keep listening to operation employees and implement procedures that integrate well with sales
