How are senior leaders perceived at FJR Group?

Pros

Always deliver consistent training to help develop their people and offer sound & knowledgeable support where required. It's great to be part of a team that actually cares about you as an individual rather than a number in a vast corporate structure. Fantastic CEO with a passion for his people and the work he does - others in leadership could learn a lot from him! Really nice to feel like you're part of a work family and not just an employee in a company.

Cons

I really can't think of anything.

How is management perceived at FJR Group?

Pros

Great team, can always rely on them if I ever need anything at all! Fab culture- first Friday of every month we get together and have Nando’s! When you finish you have a few drinks and talk about how your week had gone good/bad and they provide advice and support where possible. Happy environment, even if you are having a tough day you can rely on your colleagues to make you laugh! Supported by management if you need flexibility. I moved into my new home when I joined and my manager couldn’t have been more supportive!

Cons

As per a previous con- the office can be a little chilly but the blankets and the unlimited brews make up for it!

Advice to Management

Keep it up! It’s so nice to be in such a supportive environment and great to be a part of FJR’s adventure!

Supported by management if you need flexibility.

What is the company culture like at FJR Group?

Pros

Frazer John is a great place to work, obviously it is a recruitment business and there are clearly defined KPIs and targets to work towards but the working environment and culture is great! Its a place to be proud to be a part of. JD the director and everyone who works for FJR is ambitious and wants to make the business the best and the biggest it can possibly be and working here you feel like you are an important part of that journey. -The working environment and culture is like no other place I have ever worked, it is down to earth yet professional. You are trusted and treated like an adult. -Great reputation in the market which makes recruiting a LOT easier -Actually do what they set out to do rather than just say it for show, really big on candidate experience and giving back to the community with charity events etc -There is a great mix of people of different ages from different backgrounds from different businesses and levels of experience and this dynamic works really well -Employees get the opportunity to put their ideas forward and these are listened to which is very refreshing -You are genuinely cared about as an employee and not treated as 'just a number'

Cons

- No formal training/induction scheme in place -No set processes across the business which is a bit of a culture shock if you have come from a business where there are defined processes in place - Bonus scheme is 'one size fits all' which can make it difficult if you are just starting out -Being a small business there isn't really any opportunity for progression and there isn't a clear 'progression plan' in place to aim for

Advice to Management

Keep up with the culture and environment but maybe look to introduce some changes which will benefit junior/less experienced recruiters rather than having everything standard across the board regarding training, bonus, progression etc.

-The working environment and culture is like no other place I have ever worked, it is down to earth yet professional.

What are co-workers like at FJR Group?

Pros

- I had hesitations about working in the recruitment industry at first due to rumours and few bad experiences but Frazer John has completely changed how recruitment works. Despite being part of the support team you are regularly included in incentives and made to feel like part of the team. - I’ve had a number of things going on in my personal life this year and could not have asked for a more supportive environment; from my manager right through to the Founder they have helped me massively. - The company has huge plans for the future but the entire team is kept in the loop at every single stage. It’s made really clear what each person needs to do to help us reach the end goal and being able to see the impact I have as an individual is extremely rewarding.

Cons

- Longer working hours than I was used to but the company are completely flexible to help fit around family/lifestyle.

Advice to Management

Keep people as involved as possible as the company grows - being a valued member of the team is a strong motivator here, don't let that fade away.

Despite being part of the support team you are regularly included in incentives and made to feel like part of the team.
