Quite difficult for someone starting out to understand the purpose of the company; therefore, misunderstanding the potential of the product. On-boarding needs more time The different timezones might cause confusions and make it hard to plan a team meeting.

Advice to Management

During the first weeks of interns or employees starting out, I recommend looking into what they feel is missing. It could be vagueness of work or lack of knowledge regarding the purpose of their role that leads them to feel like they can't keep up. Other than that, definitely keep looking into what might be slowing things down, keep promoting collaboration, look into where each role can help another when they are struggling with a step. You have a gift of encouraging others to flourish, keep it up!
