Does there seem to be diversity at Food Front Cooperative Grocery?

Pros

Seems adorable, progressive, and community oriented...at first.

Cons

Run!!!! This is hands-down the worst, most deeply toxic core group of seething, dis-satisfied co-workers, management, and team systems I have ever seen. Cliques, discrimination, theft, derision, dysfunction, harassment, union-dependence is heavy due to their long standing horrendous and egregious history of employee relations. DO NOT BE FOOLED - THESE ARE HIGHLY INEFFECTIVE IDIOTS who will stop at nothing to keep this constantly barely-afloat business going. All managers are under-qualified, over-worked, and profoundly unprofessional. They have a decades long run-on story of blaming problems on management, hoping all will get better, when in fact that is only part of the problem - the biggest problem is the core of long-standing workers in middle management. Not good for earning a paycheck, working on job history or building skills, and having a regular job. NO JOKE - RUNNNNNNNN! This place is worthy of several negative starts, not even the single positive star. Board of Directors to HR to Upper Management and down to Middle Management - this place is far worse off than they will ever tell you. This goes for both store locations. Seems adorable and progressive, but is the absolute most negative company culture and group of long-term core team of toxic workers and systems.

Advice to Management

hIRE QUALIFIED PEOPLE TO MANAGE, ACTUAL QUALIFIED PEOPLE. FIRE LONG-STANDING PEOPLE WHO ARE THE MAIN PROBLEMS - BEHAVIORS ARE PART OF POOR PERFORMANCE.

Cliques, discrimination, theft, derision, dysfunction, harassment, union
