Does Gardline Limited offer unlimited holiday?

Pros

- Interesting work - Most of the technical staff are great to work with - Great way to get into the industry in the early stages of your career - Possibility for some international travel (although don't get your hopes up as you might end up stuck in Hull for most of the year)

Cons

- Pay is good if you're a recent graduate but when you realise the industry standard you will feel massively undervalued. - You tend to be either worked to the bone or completely forgotten about. - Too many last minute calls to join a ship and you can never book the time off you want. - Minimal training beyond the basics, left to figure a lot out on your own.

Advice to Management

There needs to be a serious annual pay review and better training opportunities beyond the basics.

Too many last minute calls to join a ship and you can never book the time off you want.

Does Gardline Limited offer vision insurance?

Pros

Travels are pretty cool sometimes. You know, like trips to Somalia and Singapore that kinda tings. Free food on board too. Polski loads which is my cuppa tea. Off time is kinda cool. I had almost 200 days holidays last year round.

Cons

Ships are old. Nowhere near the Norwegian ones. Management is pretty bad too. Salary - ahh no mention it. They pay peanuts. High-risk low reward. Pretty long hours working offshore like 12hours +, 7 days in a week. Of course you get holidays once you are off.

Advice to Management

The offshore market is pretty much gone now.

Free food on board too.
