How are senior leaders perceived at GloriaFood?

Pros

» The office is in the very center of Bucharest, a few minutes away from the Universitate metro station and the National Theatre. This saves me hours every day, compared to the old job in Pipera. » Small team but with a very high level of experience in all fields. Feels great being surrounded by professionals. » The product (and not the clients) comes first almost always, so there's nearly zero external pressure and deadlines we don't get a say in. It's a great approach that benefits everyone (including the clients and the team), and it's unique compared to the rest of the market. » For the first time in my career, I feel I'm working in my own rhythm, I have time to think before diving into tasks and that gives me balance and great depth, and an opportunity to gather intelligence every step of the way. I also feel I'm valued objectively, using relevante criteria. This is a combination that leads to brand loyalty and team attachment. » The CEO is a great guy, very open, nice but fair, with a very structured approach and an unbelievable attention to detail. I resonate with him very well, and feel we can do great things together.

Cons

» The building is a B+ category office space without stellar features, but it's functional and nice enough. » There's a slight rigidity in the team when approaching some experimental areas, but I feel it's easy to avoid by presenting solid arguments and data.

Advice to Management

Keep up the good work!

How is management perceived at GloriaFood?

Pros

- Interesting projects that challenge you to find out out-of-the-box solutions - Support and openness from the product management and business teams - Supportive engineering manager with whom I had a great working relationship - Fun hangouts with the team in Old City Centre, or after hours downstairs right outside the building

Cons

- The location is great, but the office was not my favorite place to work from, since it can get really hot in the summer if you sit right next to the window

What is the company culture like at GloriaFood?

Pros

Awesome team, great company culture, top product! GloriaFood has a very nice working environment. Located in the city centre at TechHub Bucharest, it's one of the distinctive companies at the co-working space. Friendly team, hard-working and dedicated, GloriaFood is providing a polished product and great customer experience. Occasional parties are great and something not to be missed! Although I haven't been directly employed we've been sharing same space for almost 3 years now. Highly recommended!

Cons

I see no downsides so far
