Does HCL Technologies offer massages?

Pros

Good start for an IT career and understanding corporative type of work. A complete social package (insurance, bonuses, benefits, sports access included), free unlimited (coffee, milk, water, tea, syrup), office community, leadership and management. Corporative events with a generous buffet and gifts (summer party, christmas party, anniversaries, multicultural cuisine day, halloween party etc.). Generous reward for a referal. Rewards for your high work performance rates, each month.

Cons

A salary can remain the same for years, that the beginners can have more money as per contract at their start due to inflation, but you will still have the same. Some senior and team lead positions are getting due to a "proper" friendship as well as work performance financial reward "Jewel Award" (not always relative to facts and individual performance rates). Work-life balance: it is a 24/7 work, hence you have here rotating mode work, including late evening shifts, night shifts, early morning shifts and weekend shifts (standby mode). A lot of calls (work consists of calls).

Advice to Management

There is a lot of unskilled teamleads, who used to be regular technical support agents and have only inherited their positions after former team leaders. Please, remain objective and neutral in a relation to those people. Nominate on a teamlead position the ones who are literate, rigorous, ethical and have a finished education in management, otherwise the project will suffer, nobody will do their duties honestly and complex, there will be a growth of undone work volume and a lot of people leave a project, or company.

Does HCL Technologies have a pension plan?

Pros

Experience will be gained and you will learn technologies that will be useful in your career path. Everyone I have interacted with is very well educated and have good manners towards everyone. Overall very helpful to each other. Great to see a few female colleagues in teams and in great roles as well. No interaction with management ( good and a bad thing ) Paid on time and bonus received every 3 months. That's all HCL has to offer to staff working in Ireland at least.

Cons

Salary is low and far behind market rate ( not sure why there's people at HCL for 5/10+ years) Bonus about 5% of annual salary (Given that annual salary is low the bonus isn't great but better than nothing) Yearly pay increase is underwhelming (1%) No 1to1 with manager about performance etc No salary review HR slow to respond or don't respond Benefits basically nothing special and if you are in lower band you don't get much benefits. ( Bike to Work, Employee Stock Option, pension 3% or 5% depending on bands, Tax Saving Scheme, medical insurance 1400 per year unless your band is E3 and above the. Company pays for you only)
