What is the company culture like at Highmark Health?

Pros

great co-workers to commiserate with

Cons

literally everything is corrupted, hypocritical, and fake about this company. Employee benefits and perks are slashed on the regular, management routinely adopts a "do as i say, not as i do" attitude, real talented is wasted or laid off or both, create an oppressive culture, micromanagement is on the menu every day, supervisors are useless and often can't even do the work they supervise... the list goes on...and in...

Advice to Management

Its blatantly obvious the main concern is profitability and ensuring board member bonuses. It's even more telling that instead of taking low employee morale seriously, you actually spend more time posting fake 5 star reviews on glassdoor to keep the applicant pipeline flowing. Any advice I have would fall on deaf ears and be received with a generic "we value your feedback" reply.

What is the hiring process like at Highmark Health?

Pros

The interview process/experience was great! The hiring manager and recruiter were great throughout the process, giving great detail and information throughout the entire process. The virtual interviews on Zoom were professional and great, and seem like great people to work with!

Cons

The only downside may have been the length of the process, as it took a bit longer than desired. However, we were going through the process through the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and I understand schedules and vacation are much tougher to coordinate.
