Does Highmark Health offer relocation assistance?

Pros

Good overall employee benefit package

Cons

Unrealistic expectations and Management targets and sets people up for failure - Upper Management ignores the employees.

Advice to Management

When a manager starts with 20 on their team and is down to 6 in less than 6 months there is a problem Not related to the employees - you need to listen before you lose good people.

Does Highmark Health offer life insurance?

Pros

Stable job. Lots of work. Good Health Insurance.Work life balance is good.

Cons

You are working with a lot of people in India. They don't have access to a lot of information that is needed to do their job so then it is falling on people in the USA to get them the information they need to do their job. Also there is lots of not being able to join meetings because of internet issues in India, or power outages, etc. Also there is only certain times they are able to meet for their work in the AM and if they can't join then a person in USA has to cover for them. India get their holidays and US holidays off work this also impact work and you having to cover for people in India.

Advice to Management

Hiring people in the USA or get the people in India the access needed to actually do their job. Holidays need to be the same for India and USA. Not fair to Employees for people to have off their holidays and USA holidays. Give everyone everything or pick holidays that everyone is off.

Good Health Insurance.Work life balance is good.

Does Highmark Health offer a wellness program?

Pros

- Great Salary - Amazing Benefits, very generous offerings - Lots of additional perks - Fast Paced - Believe in employee mobility - Enriching career experiences

Cons

- Large company so it wants to move fast, but not all aspects of the company are on the same page. Can lead to lots of road blocks and frustration. - Can be a very "office politics" environment

Advice to Management

- Take the time to align on a structure of how the big picture will be implemented outside of the core behaviors. I have seen a halt in initiatives because SVPs do not agree on how or if something should be done. Causes frustration and confusion for those trying to carry out the work to accomplish objectives.
