Does Honeywell offer massages?

Pros

Difficult to think of something. Salary is slightly above average but NJ taxes make sure you are not left any better. You do get free coffee and some Kool aid. Plenty of red tape from every department. Cold shoulder and lack of support from IT and HR. If you are researching workplace abuse and how US citizens are subservient to foreigners, this is probably a good spot to spend some time.

Cons

Pretty much everything. As soon as you join, you are on your own. No one responds to your questions with useful information, there are no documents anywhere, no processes. If you are an SBG employee or corporate, its worse, everyone in the SBU's and GBE's hate you and want you to fail. Worse still the SBU's and GBE's have all the information you need for your job and are located all over the world in different time zones. For goals, you are essentially given pie in the sky targets like grow revenue by 5%, margin by 3% etc. Of course you have no authority to change anything nor are you given a team. A title and a laptop are all that you have. Next is your boss, most likely a foreigner or someone from management consulting. If its a foreigner, he is most likely a racist that has never faced an employment lawsuit for abuse. Get ready to be yelled at, cursed at, told you know nothing and get abused for your e-mails not being grammatically correct. You can't impress your boss with any accomplishments, all he cares about are power point presentations. He will use your presentations to look good in front of his boss. You will not have access to any data or systems, trying to get access will send you in a loop to India and back to the US with no result. Forget all your skills learnt previously, they are useless. Everything revolves around meetings and presentations. You are expected to know things about every business automatically. Every meeting feels like a quiz where you are asked detailed questions about some business process on some line of business in Europe. You will not know the answer and your boss won't either, but he will expect you to find out. Unfortunately no one in Europe will respond to you with information, or will send you some canned nonsense.I can go on and on, but its better to do the smart thing and jump ship like so many have done in 2019

Advice to Management

Does Honeywell offer a wellness program?

Pros

I personally am satisfied with Honeywell. I specifically work with Process Solutions for Technology R&D, so I can only speak on my experience with that organization of Honeywell. There are quite a few benefits that come with being permanently employed with the company - the basics: medical, dental, vision, 401K. Of course you can buy their products at a discounted rate. There are wellness benefits that keep getting added and implemented. EAP is a thing here as well. Information is readily available if you know where to look. Being fairly new with the company (almost 2 years) I can say that things got easier when I figured out where to find the little things that come with "tribal knowledge".

Cons

We have to use Express Scripts as part of our medical insurance and they are horrid to work with. In my experience, there are too many applications used for different purposes across different businesses. It would be nice to have less of that and more streamlined and integrated information between businesses as well as functions.

Advice to Management

Re-implement the WFH benefit. Most employees are far more productive, especially when working with co-workers all over the globe at all hours of the day.

There are wellness benefits that keep getting added and implemented.
