How are promotions handled at Imagination?
Pros
It's a great well-known agency with a presence worldwide. Some of the projects are just amazing, great works, amazing experiences, just jaw-dropping. For the creative part is a great place to work, you'll definitely be working with great clients and projects. Salaries are good, most of the people have a good salary a little bit above average compared with other agencies.
Cons
Depends a lot on the project you are working on and your direct manager. I could see some of my colleagues really enjoying what they were doing but not for me, my project was dull and slow. The people seem more interested in covering themselves and you don't really have real friends. Most of the people would just look to blame someone else when they can't deliver what they promised and just seems like they are looking for a scapegoat when something goes wrong. There's a lot of politics involved if you want to get a promotion. You need to be good friends with your superior, not just a good employee. Promotions will always go to those who don't do too much but present the project and not to the people involved in delivering their crazy schedules. When delivery dates get closer they expect you to work on weekends, extra hours and don't take any leave. There's not too much of a work-life balance around those dates.
Advice to Management
Keep an eye on your people and their managers. Most of the time people don't leave a company because they don't like it, they leave it because of their managers.

Does there seem to be diversity at Imagination?
Pros
Access to exciting clients and projects. Lots of talented, experienced people.
Cons
Very siloed across clients and departments, and even within teams. Not enough information and expertise sharing across different parts of the business. There is a visible lack of diversity across all levels.
