What is health insurance like at Iress?

Pros

Great non-salary remuneration including heavily discounted private health insurance, discounted share purchase options, free Friday drinks and 50c cokes from the vending machine. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Cons

Feels like a bit of a one way street regarding career progression. Plenty of opportunity to move from middle to senior roles as a developer but roles appropriate for juniors never come up. No wage increase (not even CPI) for 3 years, and this is likely to persist for the foreseeable future.

Advice to Management

Meet your staff half way and offer opportunities to those that are willing to put the work in.

Does Iress offer unlimited holiday?

Pros

- Workplace technology - GSuite, Slack, Zoom - Response to the pandemic - amazing support for staff and clients alike

Cons

Not really a 'con' - you need to be able to manage your time well as there's lots to do and it's easy to just carry on working, especially when you're at home.
