Pros

- Like others, I was given an amazing opportunity by the directors when I had little experience, and was accepted into a junior role that allowed me to gain the industry knowledge & experience required to progress incredibly quickly. - Despite growing exponentially since I joined almost two years ago, the huge scope for very fast personal growth at Kairos is still true today. If you excel in your role, you will be rewarded and recognised for it. -From the high profile and often exciting clients; to the creatively driven campaigns; to the passion, work ethic and determination of the senior management for Kairos to be a success - there's no shortage of inspiration to be found in the office pretty much on a daily basis. - Upper management are striving more than ever this year to ensure that they're putting employees first, with a big focus on mental health & wellbeing in the workplace - especially important as the work can be stressful depending on what team you are on. - I've been lucky to have the opportunity to travel to three countries abroad in the last year for Kairos. Trips and campaign events abroad aren't limited to just the directors & upper management, who actively encourage both junior management and executives to get out of the office and in front of clients wherever possible. - If you have drive, initiative & a 'can-do' attitude, Kairos is a company that you will very likely thrive in.

Cons

- Due to the nature of influencer marketing being somewhat 'always on', out of hours work is often to be expected on the campaigns / accounts team - especially with clients and influencers that are in different time zones. - Work (speaking from a position on the the campaigns / accounts team) can be stressful due to the level of interaction with clients and influencers, who can be difficult and frustrating to work with at times. - The company has grown and is growing at an incredibly fast rate, which does sometimes result in teething issues in processes and operations.

Advice to Management

Continue to listen to your employees; by placing trust in them they will return that trust.

Pros

Lively atmosphere with young, energetic and success seeking employees who share similar interests in all aspects of life. Attentive HR/PA that has employees interest at the top their priority list, organizing social activities, in-house events, providing mental health relief and acknowledging achievements of those thriving within the business. Overall, a very social and person friendly agency.

Cons

Senior Management is very disjointed, childish and serious lack of emotional empathy for those struggling in the business. Overtime is ALWAYS expected but never rewarded. Serve lack of training for new employees which ultimately leads to being fired soon after. The sheer volume of staff turn over had created an intense atmosphere which made working life unbearable for everyone. Directors are fueled by their ever growing ego which makes it hard to have constructive conversations about business improvement, employees well-being and general day to day management. In summary, Directors turn a blind eye to employee feelings, mental stress and frustrations. No real opportunities are provided for those looking to develop and accelerate their career. During my time at Kairos, all positions open were offered to external candidates rather than internally.. leading to lack of motivation in a handful of employees.

Advice to Management

Kairos has potential to become great..

Pros

I've been freelancing with Kairos Group for almost a year now and the experience has been invaluable. Everyone in the team is so passionate about what they do, which can be rare in a fast-growing company. You have the opportunity to be creative and collaborate on a daily basis, even despite the fact we've had to work remotely for long periods of time. It's obvious that management really care for employees and internal communications and incentives are regularly reviewed to keep the best talent. A great place to work where you'll meet some of the most talented people in the industry.

Cons

It can be very hectic, which is the nature of the industry in general. Everyone pulls their weight though and there's an importance on making sure you aren't overworking.

Advice to Management

Continue to do what you're doing :)

Pros

I’ve never worked with a more passionate team. There’s a drive and determination you just wish you could bottle. Sometimes mistakes get made but there’s a real sense of taking learnings and moving on which makes it a much more comfortable environment for innovation. Even though the agency is going through the growing pains of fast growth, it’s doing a really great job of being m balanced when it comes to its people and services. It’s clear the business is investing a lot into the teams and really emphasising the importance of team happiness and satisfaction. There are fantastic opportunities to learn watching the group. You’ll constantly be asked questions that you may not know the answers too but then guided to find the solution. If you enjoy being outside of the comfort zone when it comes to what you do/don’t know then Kairos is great.

Cons

The team is very busy a lot of the time, which is understandable based on how quickly our industry is growing. However it’s good to know is not accepted as a norm within the Group, it’s very clear the business puts a strong focus on work/life balance but I can see that it’s quite difficult to deliver against sometimes. The agency suffers from a lack of diversity, albeit being acknowledged and something the group is working towards changing. It’s regularly discussed and you can tell there’s clearly a passion about helping remedy this. Due to how busy the teams are there’s not a strong focus on training day to day, this has meant that sometimes people aren’t set up to deal with the challenges they face. Luckily the teams are incredibly supportive of each other, there’s definitely a “we’re in this together” mentality, which is great to know when it gets challenging.

Advice to Management

Continue to listen to and invest in your teams. Embrace the senior leaders coming into the group and know where to focus the energy at a time where everything seems like a priority. Continue to put emphasis on growth of resource, the teams need more support and it’s great to see the lengths you are going too to help them get it.

There are fantastic opportunities to learn watching the group.

Pros

- Opportunity to work with some of the worlds biggest brands - Lot's of scope for personal growth and development - Management are responsive and extremely helpful - Directors are not faceless, they make themselves approachable and mingle with the teams - Plenty of opportunities to earn commission If you have an interest in the gaming industry this is the place to be.

Cons

- Sometimes long hours may be required to get the job done. But again, not necessarily a con, you don't mind putting in the extra hours when some of the projects are so cool.

Plenty of opportunities to earn commission
