What kind of career opportunities exist at Kinex?

Pros

Kinex in Leeds is a great place to work. It's a friendly vibrant office in a great location just by the town hall. Telesales can be a difficult role, but if you can do the job I'd recommend this place. The atmosphere is great fun with games and prizes every day. Good hours and plenty of breaks. Management are understanding and flexible and provide exceptional training and support. The pay is certainly reasonable with a basic wage and plenty of opportunity to get commission and earn a healthy pay cheque. Targets are easily achievable and you are given the freedom to work at your own pace and develop your own style. There is no one looking over your shoulder or listening in to your calls demanding you read from a script, if you need help the whole team will support you and give you tips and tricks to do the job.

Cons

Not many facilities in office, but it's in the centre of Leeds so it's no biggy.

I have worked at Kinex previously, as a lead generator and have come back. So that's clearly says alot in itself. Love the atmosphere, the drive and the team efforts. What is the feeling of job security at Kinex?

Pros

Lovely people to work with Nice atmosphere

Cons

No security whatsoever They make you write positive reviews If you're ill they wont let you call in sick and fire you if you dont come in Outbound cold calling to businesses tjat have been spam called for years by them I was meant to receive 12 days notice and was fired on the spot. When i mentioned this to the branch manager i was told "no, thats notice you need to give us, not that we need to give you". I went back 3 weeks later to pick up a jacket i had left there and there were 2 people left out of over 10 that worked there while i was there. A distinct lack of training. 10 hours at the very most.

Advice to Management

Give your staff more chances rather than expecting them to be exceptional sales people after a day and a half training. Update your system, using paper sheets that you buy from a 3rd party with people's numbers on them and using a phone is no where near what should be being done in 2019 Stop rehiring people 2-3 weeks after they have been fired. It shows that you need everyone you can get. Dont have an area manager who, while being a class bloke, is a complete distraction and sits on his laptop gambling and looking through the cameras more than anything else Stop allowing people to vape in the newcastle office. There was a xonstsnt cloud apart from when Dave came in

I was meant to receive 12 days notice and was fired on the spot.

Is Kinex a good company to work for?

Pros

I have been working in the Ipswich branch for 6 weeks now and am going from strength to strength. The attitude of the team is friendly and very supportive and the managers are incredibly professional and work really hard to support and encourage the team. We are the top branch in the country and for a good reason. I was in two minds about taking the job because of some of the negative reviews on here but I’m so pleased I did. The only reason anyone would post negatively is if they don’t want to work hard or genuinely cannot do the job. It’s not for everyone. I have made target every week and am happy that I can continue to do so.

Cons

You cannot go through the motions of doing the job, you need to put the effort in but if you do it’s very rewarding with basic salary , commission and bonuses to be earned.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you’re doing guys, you are doing an amazing job.
