Does Lowe's offer dental insurance?

Pros

Decent benefits, good dental and eye

Cons

Used to be a good company to work for. Now they take more and more away and pile on more and more responsibilities. Management, ecpeciaĺly new ceo does not seem to care about employees? No work life balance.

Advice to Management

Please make schedules so emplyees have time and energy left to spend with families. Find a way to commision and or bonus sales specialist.

Does Lowe's offer employee discounts?

Pros

Decent discount, workable hours, paid time off for part timers as well as tuition reimbursement.

Cons

Management, at most stores, isn't worth a damn. The support group that the retail employee needs is missing.

Advice to Management

Listen to customers, take charge, listen to employees, be more stern in your leadership.

Does Lowe's assist with or provide work transportation?

Pros

Benefits Pay Vacation Quarterly Bonus Paid tuition Discount car insurance Health incentives

Cons

Short staffed in low volume stores If management is poor, whole store suffers.

Advice to Management

Moral is the biggest issue. If your ASM are over stressed, overworked they will put too much pressure on the DM and it trickles to hourly employees who then feel overwhelmed. Positive environment is a must!

What is health insurance like at Lowe's?

Pros

Employee discount and decent health insurance, some co-workers are great

Cons

Awful schedule rotation, very small annual raise - merit raises are non-existent, under-performing and problem employees are near impossible to discipline due to extremely restrictive HR, quality of co-managers wildly inconsistent

Advice to Management

Reward the people who are getting the job done right, stop letting your under-performers do the barest minimums.
