What is a typical working day like at Merlin Entertainments?

Chaotic Physically draining Always short staffed The pay isn’t enough for the physical exercise Pay has decreased as a few years ago ride operators got 50p more an hour, but as minimum wage increased the pay didn’t increase with it Some departments are entitled to an extra 15 min break on an 8 hour shift but now ride operators are not?

Advice to Management

Change those cons other wise it would be great for part time people

Pros

Great benefits include 20 free tickets to any Merlin attraction for the year and this increases to 40 tickets during the winter season. 20% off Lego in-store and 40% off Lego online. The management and staff are very friendly and accepting.

Cons

During the winter/spring season the number of days you work dramatically reduces no matter if you work full-time or part-time. Currently, you are told the night before what time to attend work in the morning. Which can get a little irritating.
