The statistic is true about BAME officers ( you will be needlessly reprimanded & targeted) Experience will depend on your supervisor/team ( bad SLT = worse time of your life… South station “great people” … north station “ vile people” ) Many policies and strategies about better working but no implementation Due to the MET wanting more officers, people in MET who should not be there No ownership or share responsibility… “ it’s your fault “ mentality Social life greatly disrupted

Advice to Management

Be more humble with your rank, Be neutral in all circumstances Be more supportive and not condemning Recognise the issues that BAME officers and staff experience and don’t be part of the institutional problem
