What is a typical working day like at Mom365?
Pros
You'll be instantly given a job offer (You wont be hired until after lots of drug screens and vaccines though)
Cons
You are given very strict time limits to do things, with the threat of termination; while they provide no clues of how long they (corporate/ management) will take to move on to the next steps of training. To explain, I was given a job offer immediately. I was then told I would start work/training within two weeks. It took a month. I had 48 hrs to get drug tested and vaccinated. I did it immediately but then would be on standby with no word from the company for about 3-5 days. I had to go to the MedPost 2 times. So it took two weeks for me to actually be hired and I had to have blood drawn, pee in a cup, and get 5 shots and a TB test. I was fine with this because its a hospital job with babies. But it was a lot of work and it felt offensive for communication to be so one sided, especially since it took so long for my actual training to begin. Online training was a breeze but then I had to wait on the company to set up my credentials with the hospital which took about 5 days. Then I was assigned to a hospital an hour away from home. I had to quit. I had lost a month of real paying work and I had to move on to another actual paying job. Not one that was having me on standby with the promise of being hired. I truly wanted this job to work, but I dont have the money to buy my own set of fancy pants and black dress shirt (takes a while for the real uniform to show up), or the money and time to spend two hours to get to a shift and back . I tried, but I need a job that actually hires me when they say I was hired. Also there are three mandatory conference calls a week at 9am. Even if you dont work you have to spend an hour in the calls. which are a waste of time, all the info discussed could be condensed into a short email.
Advice to Management
Better communication goes a long way When a new employee is following the timeline, follow it on your end too. A promises two week process made me quit my other job early, and have no income for two weeks.

What is it like working with clients or customers at Mom365?
Pros
Way less involvement than running your own business. Got to do the fun part of photographing newborns, and helping mom get the prints and products she desired. Loved getting to meet new people, and loved working with all the babies!
Cons
The days were sometimes very long. On your feet and hunched over for 8 hours per day. Unpredictable amount of clients (babies) each day of work. Have to be REALLY good at sales to get people to purchase packages so you can earn decent commission.
Advice to Management
They should have better tiered commission or incentives the more you sell. They should focus on getting photographers who are better talented/skilled, or take more direct measures to teach the photographers who aren't very good.

What are working conditions like at Mom365?
Pros
It was nice to photograph babies, most moms and dads were happy and open.
Cons
Technical difficulties with computer system took a lot of time to reconcile, and that time is not paid. The pay is very low unless you can sell big packages. Income depends mostly on which hospital you work in and the patient demographic.
Advice to Management
Provide photographers with updated computer equipment and make base pay higher because so much time is spent fixing problems or waiting waiting waiting to photograph babies.
