Pros
Although not currently available this company has a shift market place where you can offer up shifts or pick up extra hours which I think is really useful and allows for more flexible working
Cons
Low pay especially for under 25s can be really tiring on feet all day. Only small contracts offered
Advice to Management
Show loyalty to existing staff by allowing them to add hours to contract

Pros
Good flexibility on overtime, with an online shift swap or pickup system, without going through management Decent enough staff discount
Cons
Little to no encouragement or motivation for growth, or training provided besides hours of mind-numbing videos. Lots of gossip in the workplace, and chronically understaffed, often facing the brunt of customers because there's two staff in the whole store, whilst management are off the shop floor.
Advice to Management
Focuses for the shopfloor and fulfillment in a way that staff feel they are actually contributing. More staff needed in

Pros
Free/discounted clothes. Large environment so bound to find other staff members you get on with.
Cons
Minimum wage Minimum legal breaks (unpaid) Militant clock in/out system - 3 minutes late? you miss out on 15 mins pay. Also, you never leave on time. Awful repetitive royalty free music constantly in your ear. Inconsistent returns policy you have to deal with. Returned items were made to immediately be put back on the shop floor without being checked or cleaned, customers would frequently find used tissues or foul smells in clothing and you will be the recipient of their anger. Water on shop floor was banned just as I left. WATER. If you wanted a drink, you had to go all the way up to the staff room on the third floor but don't go for too long or too frequently or you get called out. Awful training, new staff were often given no formal support on their first shift, instead left to figure things out on their own or hope that another member of staff will have time to help them out. Poor progression, even team leaders were making less than regular CSA's at neighbouring stores. Strange "team coach" role which doesnt provide any extra pay but takes on leadership responsibilities. Younger staff were frequently pressured by management to take additional hours.
