How are senior leaders perceived at Nationwide Building Society?

Pros

Visionary CEO and executive leadership team, caring culture, great people policies, friendly staff.

Cons

Complex structure, siloed but work is going on to break this down. Hard for part time women to progress. Development could be managed better.

Advice to Management

Support people more in their development. Yes, its the responsibility of staff to take control of their development but sometimes we don't know what we don't know, and if line managers don't take any responsibility for it then we are cast adrift and it can easily be forgotten.
