Does Newcross Healthcare Solutions assist with or provide work transportation?

Pros

Company Car Although your told not to drive it too much

Cons

As a new starter, I had very little training. I felt that I was expected to know everything from the word go. I highlighted this to HR in the hope of getting support and was told that it wouldn't change. I was told that my line manager was lacking in people skills and i should be prepared for that. As a consequence, I was bullied and victimised from the start. Office staff did not want to be there. I was left on my own in the second week and expected to know what to do. My junior employee took it upon themselves to talk to my manager for the way they were unprofessional to me. Phone calls are monitored by management, so what I thought was a confidential conversation turned out to not be. It is not an aggressive style of management, it is pure bullying.

Advice to Management

If you want your business to grow, then you need to pay attention to your people. How can you have head office staff warning you about management and their lack of people skills. Target driven is fine, but not being supported or given the opportunity to learn is disgusting.

How are the career development opportunities at Newcross Healthcare Solutions?

Pros

Work on your individual or team regions to achieve targets. Pay is reasonable.

Cons

Training at first is quite good, but you soon realise that the processes can change at the drop of a hat. No real support, team bonding or consistent meetings, it seems that the management make things up as they go along. You will need to work at least one weekend shift a month, weekday shifts vary too every week. No real career advancement given, and forget performance bonuses - you seldom get them, or they pay in small amounts every now and then. Good place to work if it's your first or second job after college or university, just to gain some level of experience.
