Does OSTC have an on site gym?
Pros
Social stuff, pizza, generally friendly people, informal, handy for the station. They can be flexible about what days you come in. They do want to change things and be progressive. I believe their training is good for trading staff.
Cons
Some people had just been there too long in my opinion and one or two had difficult personalities. I'd never heard of OSTC before I joined. Very little parking on site unless you're senior or are members of a small group who can get permission. Feels quiet at holiday times when some people work from home. Long hours (although they want to change this) and you may be just largely left to pick things up yourself. Key to your job enjoyment will be getting accepted by 'the group' you work with/for.
Advice to Management
Keep an eye on the effects of the few difficult people who feel their influence threatened.

How do employees feel about OSTC's policy around taking breaks?
Pros
Good pay, Good exposure to international markets.
Cons
13 hours of constant challenging work with no breaks in between even to have 5 minutes meals on the dinning table. The combination of HIGH pressure to make volumes even if you need to take losses and making minimum profits to keep the job makes it impossible to survive let alone enjoy work. Excessive micromanaging adds cherry on top of the crippling mental health caused due to stress. All this has reflected in so many of good employees leaving the job even when they had no back up plans. The exit option is just as terrible. The work profile is so niche that only one other company in India can be a potential recruiter. (If there’s going to be a reply comment that says there are multiple exit options then please do provide them detail instead of giving vague answers) . Sleepless nights (sadly normalized within other traders) where one cannot keep aside trading thoughts and get some proper sleep to combat the job next day. This extends on weekends as well where the exhaustion of work is so much that weekends fall short to compensate the all-week work trauma. The job is mentally exhausting to a point where it causes physical pain (Not kidding, my doctor raised her eyebrows on hearing this). Office calls involve so much micromanaging, high-pressure commands that it drains the hell out of your brain. You cannot take 10 minutes off work because you need to take trades ALL the time. Mental health of employees have steeped downwards along with minimum job satisfaction.
Advice to Management
If you’re going to make employees sit literally all day to a point when one cant have a cup of coffee without looking at the screen then atleast provide a cushioned chair. Market movement and trades cause enough stress and pressure, y' all don't need to add on to it. Challenging job profile isnt the problem, making the job toxic is.
