How are promotions handled at OVO Energy?

Pros

The people you work with are the best asset and who will make you get out of bed.

Cons

Leadership believes that everyone can be replaced. Have been asking to be promoted for some time now, and there is no promotion in sight, no payrise.

Advice to Management

Invest in your people, they are what keeps the company going. Lots of the people I work with are stressed to the point of breaking down.

What is the feeling of job security at OVO Energy?

Pros

Could be good if it wasn’t all talk, put your staff and customers first. Not the money making CEO

Cons

We were recently taken over by OVO, we were in SSE and promised no job losses by the CEO. COVID-19 came as a good excuse for 2500 redundancies. No trust what so ever I’m the company and I’ve chosen to leave before I’m made redundant .

Advice to Management

Treat your staff with more respect
