Pros

Good pension and benefits (gym payments, fruit in office etc), flexible working hours

Cons

Favouritism is rife. Promotion cycle unclear and managers show a lot of bias. Very high pressure with tight deadlines. Staff pushed to work overtime and often through lunch to get work done. Low salary for such a company and considering the high stress levels. Very uneven work distribution. A lot of people stuck in old habits, not open to new ideas. Culture can feel very toxic and "dog eat dog".

Pros

Good pension and hard working colleagues

Cons

- Poor senior management decisions - No care for employees’ well being - Using minimum resource to generate maximum revenue to an extent people leave due to extremely high workload - Pay is very low compared to the competition

Advice to Management

Be less greedy. People are not statistical numbers. Every decision you make has significant implications for the employees. Do not sign a contract with a customer unless you have enough resources to deliver.

Pros

Great people and atmosphere in the QA department lead by a inspirational leader. Flexible work hours (I worked 3 days a week 06:00 to 14:00). Contributory free pension, healthcare and dental. Plenty of opportunity for fun and socialization. The staff are the greatest asset

Cons

If I had a con it would be the hour long dinner time, I would prefer a shorter lunch time and finish a little earlier each day.

Advice to Management

Carry on doing what you are doing

Contributory free pension, healthcare and dental.

Pros

- Challenging: you get the opportunity to highlight your scientific and technical experience, along with in sights to business development - Diverse: Each day is different, great mix of problem solving/ technical along with customer interaction - Environment: you are never alone, fantastic support and training. The FS UK team is hands down the best team I've worked for. No drama, no nonsense, everyone has the same goal in mind to provide exceptional customer experience and work together to achieve this Progression: Structured career from day 1, you get what you put in. Opportunities available for the taking for everyone - Superb benefits, food allowance, generous car and fuel allowance, gym, broadband contributions along with other salary sacrificed benefits (dental and health etc), complete travel paid for, 10% bonus annually, great pension contribution - Family friendly

Cons

- Salaries could be better in line with the current competition, however the generous benefits make up for this - You need a strong mental capacity as the training is intense, learning various platforms back to back including hardware/ software/ applications, then being released into the field. Nevertheless, the support is fantastic and you're never alone - Sometimes work late into the evening reading SOPs/ performing admin duties as you're on the road daily sometimes there is no time to schedule this in working hours.

Advice to Management

Thank you for your on-going support and encouragement, and I'm sure you will drive the success of the department further
