Does Quick Release offer a retirement plan?

Pros

We get an awesome amount of PTO, way more than the US standard. The people are generally friendly, enjoy their jobs, and are pleasant to work with. Someone is always there to help when you need. Work/life balance is excellent - Give your 8-5 and they give you the rest. Team socials are optional but completely paid for and a lot of fun.

Cons

When you first start, it can feel like joining a clique of people who already have a ton of inside jokes. It can be hard to break your way in and be social at first, but the team is generally accepting. The 401k match is a bit below industry standard.

How are the career development opportunities at Quick Release?

Pros

- An amazing company, filled with incredibly smart, capable and friendly people. - You’re made to feel part of a family that cares for one another and shares in the good times and pulls together when things get tougher. - Excellent training programme that continues throughout your career - Opportunities to progress are boundless - you create your own career here! - Supportive environment to foster innovation - So much to engage in inside and outside the workplace as the company is keen to bond at every opportunity

Cons

- Not a company for someone who wants a mapped career where progression is assured with length of service - you create your own career here. - Many roles involve being on client sites and working with non-QR_ teams, so you need to be prepared to work hard at building those relationships too.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what your doing - the employees love it!

Does there seem to be diversity at Quick Release?

Pros

interesting work, some nice people, culture can be fun.

Cons

culture can become toxic, diversity in management and leadership is poor.

How is management perceived at Quick Release?

Pros

- Good starting salary out of uni - Possible to get lots of client exposure - Can upskill to consultancy/software development

Cons

- Not many development initiatives - Progress reviews focus on random feedback from often irrelevant parties - Illusion of 'good culture' but this isnt backed financially or in reality when situations are tough - Stagnant career progression if you don't want to go into management (not far from starting salary) - Many people promoted to roles where they are not able to deliver and subordinates suffer - Not very diverse at management level eg most management is white & male and board is 100% white male

Advice to Management

- Increase salaries for skilled employees - Focus on development - Financially invest in culture - Financially invest in ED&I
