Does Rendall and Rittner offer unlimited holiday?

Pros

Friendships made with colleagues Support from colleagues you’ve made a close bond with

Cons

Poor management and very bad line management. Senior management tend to refer their friends to work at the company and interview them in secret so others do not get a chance. There is bias within the company and confidentiality is a no go. You will only get far in your career if you know the senior management. The pay is very bad and you have to beg for a pay rise. You have to show and tell them why you are good at your job. In the end they would either say no or they will review it at the annual salary review when they don’t. The pay is also not equal. You could have 3 people who are on different salaries when the job itself is on the same level and you are all doing the same work. They are very sneaky when it comes to pay. Your voice will never get heard unless you are a senior member. If you stand up for yourself it ends in a bad way and 9/10 times the senior managers voice will always get heard. The rules that should apply to all (ie coming into work 10 mins late due to a train fault) don’t. You would need to make up your time (which is fair)but managers wouldn’t. You would get told of for coming into to work late if it’s a pattern (again fair) but you’d get pulled out in front of everyone however when it comes to your line manager coming in late those rules don’t apply. The company do not stand by their values and they need to be looked at again. There isn’t much diversity within the offices. When it comes to Christmas all managers are able to take time off but you would have to work. I did not feel appreciated and work was never praised. At one point in a team meeting my manager took the praise for my work and did it with so much pride. This company has really good potential but only if they take the time to listen to their staff after all their slogan is something along the line of the customer is everyone around me..

Advice to Management

Listen to your staff and treat everyone equally. Do not have your favourites and remember you were once in our shoes before you became senior

When it comes to Christmas all managers are able to take time off but you would have to work.

How are the career development opportunities at Rendall and Rittner?

Pros

I am lucky to have been with Rendall & Rittner for over 5 years and have witnessed the company go from strength to strength. The support we receive from all levels of management is outstanding and everybody really has a passion for their roles and duties. This is further aided by an active in-house training academy. The company is very open to career progression. A great company to work for, evident from the low turnover of staff and numerous awards received.

Cons

None that I can think of as any feedback is always considered constructively and heard out by Senior Management who in turn, provide effective resolutions.

The company is very open to career progression.
