How is management perceived at Rockland Immunochemicals?

Pros

I really wish there was something good to take away from my time here but the only valuable thing I gained was experience to get out of this company.

Cons

Where to even start...for starters management is clueless and are way behind in the Times. They fire people to just replace them and then they end up leaving or getting fired. Expect to do the job of 3 people and be told you're not working fast or hard enough. Expect to do all the cleaning and housrwork since they can't justify having someone clean what they call "clean" rooms or even lab space. There is no growth unless you're a favorite with terrible pay. There are so many other biotech companies around that offer a much brighter future and advancement opportunities they can't keep employees.

Advice to Management

Start listening to employees and consider having someone else come in and redo the business. You can't keep a business running with the turnover rate and low compensation and bad benefits.

How are flexible working hours at Rockland Immunochemicals?

Pros

While old reviews are incredibly harsh and somewhat dramatic, there is truth to some. I have been fortunate enough to stick it out with Rockland and witness the amazing and positive changes that have happened over the last two years specifically. It wasn't always easy, but it has absolutely been worth it. The best parts about Rockland are: the flexibility, the customer focused environment, free coffee, frequent parties and activities, pays well, routine raises and the close bonds formed with coworkers

Cons

The work area is open and tends to be loud and communication is still a work in progress especially with upper and senior management. Some policies and procedures are outdated and there is WAY too much tribal knowledge mentality.

Advice to Management

Keep progressing. The employees who are here now, want to be here. We're happy with the changes and excited for the future!
