What is the salary like at Santander?

Pros

Good benefits, good pay, some flexibility

Cons

Not a place for a career. Most of the roles are dead-end jobs. Annual layoffs. Management is poor.

Does Santander offer a monthly bonus?

Pros

Some manager are cool and not floor gossipers, the benefits was cool and the pay was alright it paid the bills.

Cons

They first train you for a department that you are not going to and have absolutely nothing to do with the department you are going to. The job description did not have collections and once I started working about 8 months in it turned into collecting from old past due accounts. You don’t get a bonus monthly for collecting.

Advice to Management

Grow up and be more professional

What are other benefits and incentives like at Santander?

Pros

Always looking for ways to improve the customer experience. Management has greatly improved employee training programs. Good pay, excellent incentive package, good benefits. Competitive product offerings.

Cons

While consumer customer facing tech is state of the art, the working tech for employees to use is a work in progress. Many departments are lightly staffed making it difficult to manage PTO needs with coverage needs.

Advice to Management

Focus on tech and process efficiency. Employees can feel the respect. We need to step up our game in the business arena. Our account offerings are great but the field needs to be better trained on the ancillaries so we can teach our clients how to use the great tools available to them.

Good pay, excellent incentive package, good benefits.
