What is the hiring process like at Secret Escapes?

Pros

Great people, flexi working, ambitious goals for the future

Cons

No formalised promotion process or way to progress, despite this issue being flagged time and time again to HR and senior management. Very difficult process to “ask” for a promotion or pay increase. Overall low pay and no room for progression. Senior leadership appear to have no interest in sustainability initiatives despite being a travel company. There has also been little progress on D&I initiatives despite opening conversations about it nearly 2 years ago

Advice to Management

Start listening to what your employees are asking you (and don’t take years to deliver)

No formalised promotion process or way to progress, despite this issue being flagged time and time again to HR and senior management.
