How is the work/life balance at Secret Escapes?

Pros

- Flexible working, really great company for work/life balance - Caring and supportive managers - Free food in the office, including free lunches, unlimited soft drinks and free alcoholic drinks every Friday - Office culture is laid back with great benefits - yoga, massages, manicures, meditation, discounts - A very hardworking environment which keeps you motivated to succeed but yet not too pressurising - On-boarding process is extremely supportive - you can tell before you even start the company that the business completely values it's employees.

Cons

- Sometimes quite a high workload with lots of admin but hard work is noticed amongst your managers

What is it like traveling for work at Secret Escapes?

- Great/nice people - Good office location in central London - Strong focus on cooperation

Cons

- Archaic in it's approach, everything is "business case" driven and therefore decision making processes are very long - Lack of skilled people in management positions, in particularly lack of industry experience. - Secret Escapes considered to be archaic from a technology perspective within online travel industry

Advice to Management

Hire skilled people with both the correct theoretical background as well credible experience within the industry

Young and multicultural atmosphere, possibility to work from home, flexible working hours Free office breakfast and Friday drinks, travel discounts and credits Office meditation and social activities

Cons

The role is not challenging, there's no space for creativity Poor chance of progression
