What is the feeling of job security at Sense?

Pros

Absolutley none apart from great volunteers

Cons

Hostile toxic environment, retail staff treated like dirt. Performance management and disciplinary action taken if raffle ticket sales targets are not met. Raffle ticket sales are heavily driven and take place virtually all year round. Aggresive and abusive area manager with no experience of the charity industry or the good natured people that work within it, spoken to like dirt and told to do 4 hours unpaid work a day or hand my notice in. Shop staff are leaving their jobs due to the new area managers treatment but head office are dismissive of any reports about the area manager.

Advice to Management

Go back to the culture of a few years ago!
