Nice new group offices Good IT Good benefits to bolster less then industry standard salary

Cons

Blame culture Senior management not interested in issues being raised in good time Production targets more important than quality or safety, despite the public promotions posted out on various media platforms Demoralised production staff working more them contracted hours on a very regular basis Too many layers of management diluting responsibility and accountability High staff turn over above 30%

Advice to Management

Do what the company promotes itself on. This way you may retain staff.

How is management perceived at St. Modwen Properties?

Pros

Great teams to work with and friendly people. Good IT support and systems

Cons

No acknowledgement or reward for hard working and good quality staff. Causing good people to leave. Decisions / Processes are poorly communicated and without proper appreciation of their full imapacts (it would be good to obtain opinions from all levels of the business). The high level of micro management results in frustration. Unrealistic time scales for certain tasks.

Advice to Management

Reward and promote people within the company based upon line manager / colleague opinions.
