What are some insights into the strategy or vision at TOPdesk?

Pros

TOPdesk gives opportunities to all employees to develop their carreers, builting your strategy, applying your ideas, with responsabilities and trust. Of course we follow the major strategy but the point is that every ideas are heard and the best always win!

Cons

With so much freedom, a carreer plan is not made and sometimes we feel lost. Even being able to guide our carreer, we need some ideas about the possibilities and plans.

How is management perceived at TOPdesk?

Pros

From my experience working here, I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The company is full of helpful and friendly colleagues and it doesn't take long to settle in with the existing employees. The onboarding process and regular training mean you are constantly learning and becoming better at the role, it's a great chance to see how a company really works in this sector with opportunities to run your own projects and collaborate with other teams. Topdesk is also great with social events, from regular Friday drinks to charity events, you will get plenty of chances to mix with your colleagues and partake in company-wide experiences. Flexible hours and the management are understanding about appointments and University exams etc.

Cons

While the company is flexible with hours, the workload can sometimes feel heavy if you are very busy with other commitments like University or personal goals. If you aren't used to interaction with potential customers over the phone it can take a while to get used to but the management is always there to help.

Is TOPdesk a good company to work for?

Pros

A lovely company, with a great environment and even better people! Working part time here has been such a great experience, and I have learnt so much already. There are so many opportunities to grow and learn from this job, and I look forward for the future of working here.

It's sometimes hard to manage time between work and uni

What is the company culture like at TOPdesk?

Pros

The culture is inclusive, supportive and there is a flat hierarchy where you are given autonomy from day one to contribute to ideas and strategy. There is great flexibility and a work-life balance where you are not expected to work outside of your contracted hours. There are loads of great benefits also, where employees are highly rewarded from team days out, bonus', and the summer party held in the Netherlands. I highly recommend anyone thinking about applying to TOPdesk to do so!

Cons

Cannot think of any as of yet!

Advice to Management

Don't ever change the culture and benefits!
