What is working from home like at Tesco?

Pros

Exposure to senior leadership, flexibility to work from home, encouraged to take breaks throughout the day, opportunity to work on big and interesting projects, friendly colleagues, great office with a gym, event space and Tesco store on site, wonderful learning opportunities

Cons

Poor salary and bonus, a few disengaged employees with little get up and go to deliver

Advice to Management

Consider reward for internal colleagues who decide to remain at Tesco. External are rewarded a lot better than those who progress within. Continue to listen to the Every Voice Matters results and implement changes e.g. 25 minute meetings and the encouragement to take a break were great additions following the feedback on workload Continue to develop and grow internal talent. There’s lots of great employees benefiting from great learning resources

How is the work/life balance at Tesco?

Pros

It's a job that just covers the bills

Cons

They dont care about your safety only think about the money they can make. Your expected to do everything included the cleaning with no staff as they always cutting budgets. No work life balance the pay is rubbish compared to other company's, also they say he get so much pay but you don't as they count the Clubcard discount as your pay which you never see

Advice to Management

Should sack all the managers over paid and don't help when short staffed

What is overtime like at Tesco?

Pros

Good pay, most of the management are amazing, very flexible working and lots of overtime available if you want it!

Cons

Some of the managers don’t consider anything apart from the rules and hitting targets however this is the minority of managers

Keep up the good work
