Generally can obtain a very good work-life balance. Flexible working options (flexitime, remote working) Great office culture and friendly colleagues, supportive managers. Organisation values diversity and inclusion. Good pension scheme. Decent modern offices (Sheffield site)

Cons

Pay potentially not as high as private sector Progression can be a little slow, but is given to those who can demonstrate ability, experience and impact and can communicate it in interviews.
