Does The Very Group offer sponsored degrees?

Pros

Excellent on site facilities, an extremely clean, safe & happy place to work. Your Team Leaders, Trainers, Fellow Associates - Everybody .. all approachable, friendly, eager to help. I felt accepted, respected & safe .. what else could you ask for? Well - OK .. reimbursement? I worked nights on 'Navy' through Mach Recruitment (also a 5* organisation .. thank you for getting me the job!) and enjoyed £14.65ph for the first 44hrs. A 4 on/4 off shift pattern is in operation across the site on both days & nights. 🙂👍 ....finally - pool tables & video games ..all free AND an on-site gym! I L O V E D I T !

Cons

12 hour shifts as a fulfillment associate isn't for everyone and there is little room for manoeuvre on this 'rule' ....but do ask - if they can accommodate then they will. Two 30 minute breaks at set times not good for people with dietary issues ..they aren't set up to accommodate anything - not being 'exclusive', that's just how it is .. the operation is so big. The walking!!! Must waste days in man hours every year? To and fro' the restaurant/canteen, going to the loo .. anything is a walk! And I did notice that some seem to need the toilet quite a lot ......... On your feet with very little 'otherwise movement' for 11 out of 12 hours.

Advice to Management

Breaks throughout those 12 hours ..address that and you would keep more quality staff. Maybe break out areas very close to work station groups with a drinks machine? A place where you can sit and have a brew ..I'd wager that far from hitting KPI's, it would improve them ..and luxuries are a reward, abuse them and lose them - you can see immediately how a break out area affects team & individual performance so what have you got to lose? I totally would still be with you had this been addressed. William Cort (Fulfillment Associate) Mach Recruitment.

OK .. reimbursement?
