What kind of career opportunities exist at TransferWise?

Pros

Asking questions, being eager to learn, see, and do, are all rewarded. Team camaraderie is high and company culture is supportive and nurturing. There's no shortage of opportunities to grow professionally, if you're into that sort of thing.

Cons

Despite the global nature of the company, it can sometimes be tough to be heard by the right people to solve problems if you're not able to get in the same room. Most of the time, communication is great, but there are some large issues that could probably be solved a lot more easily if the the mountain was just a bit closer.

Advice to Management

Don't try to rush the end zone. You can't get to the zero-yard-line without getting across the rest of the field first, and there are quite a few missions that can be accomplished before trying to make progress toward 'mission zero'.

There's no shortage of opportunities to grow professionally, if you're into that sort of thing.
