How are senior leaders perceived at Uniting Ambition?
Pros
Having worked for UA for over 4 years I feel that it is a great place to work if recruitment is your thing. Since fresh investment at the end of 2017 and a change in leadership the business seems to be thriving. The leadership team have created a great collaborative culture and a policy that allows everybody to have direct access to the MD in order to share ideas and drive the business forward. Salaries and bonus schemes are also very competitive and a recent office relocation has made the office more accessible.
Cons
Historically there has been a lack of flexibility in regards to remote/home working.

What are some insights into the strategy or vision at Uniting Ambition?
Pros
I joined as a grad with no recruitment experience four and a half years ago, have had four promotions and been involved with the development and launch of their new brand Uniting Cloud. They have a clear direction for growing the business, are open in their goals and have worked hard to develop and implement and development pathway to grow and develop peoples careers in a way that works for them. Flat management structure, approachable and directors take an active role in peoples development. A fun working environment with regular incentives. A strong client base, that is continuously growing. The ability to develop your own niche and grow it inline with your own career ambitions and importantly the support to help you do this. Very good pay and commission opportunities. A new leadership structure grown internally with lots of expected growth over the coming year.
Cons
lots of exciting change - this does mean long days can be required to achieve results. Very target driven. Limited flexibility on working hours, like all recruitment it can be 24/7.
Advice to Management
Continue to invest in the people you currently have. Inline with performance some additional flexibility would be a bonus.

What kind of career opportunities exist at Uniting Ambition?
Pros
A young environment and a great culture fit- lovely bunch of people work here so team spirit is great and a real buzz to the office environment with music and deal songs on the screens and regular incentives. Great managing “down to earth” director who is a decent and genuine person, if your reasonable, he will be reasonable back. He is hands on and very passionate about the company and keeping the staff happy. Good work Adam Wagster
Cons
It is very KPI and target driven with call times regularly monitored but i guess if your not willing to work to targets then agency recruitment isn’t the right job for you anyway as all of them will be. Not a clear direction for progression but as UA are a growing business potential opportunities for new roles will likely be created Benefits aren’t great and salary increases are short between but as the company grows this should improve! Christmas shut down is a huge bonus
Advice to Management
Keep listening to staff with where they want to grow and where their skills lie and developing the ones you see potential in including salary increases
