How is management perceived at Vertu Motors?

Pros

Company’s car Great general manager Great training- formidable trainer! Great sales process and software Extremely smart owner: respect

Cons

I started less than a month ago ( Citroen Nottingham) and I have already handed in my notice of leaving. Before excepting the offer I saw all the bad reviews here but I really wanted to give it a go. Big mistake. I agree with all the negative comments below. Let me be clear. My decision wasn’t taken because of the long hours -60 per week, the lack of breaks and personal life. The level of the line management is absolutely atrocious! No respect, no patiencе, ignorance and arrogance! If you dare to ask or disagree- you are out. They will make you hate the job and quit. Advice: if you don’t have an opinion, education and self respect that job is exactly for you- take it! The attitude given by the business manager towards customers is aggressive, pushy and arrogant. Many customers left the dealership insulted and embarrassed.

Advice to Management

Please consider precisely: - train and educate the people who are going to be promoted from sales person to manager. People don’t leave jobs, they leave managers

The level of the line management is absolutely atrocious!
