Does Wesleyan offer healthcare cash plans?

Pros

The people I have got to know and work with so far have given me a warm and friendly welcome and genuinely care about helping you fit in remotely and supporting where necessary. The culture is good, I feel valued and have flexibility within my role to get work life balance right. Lots of interesting projects to get involved with within the business. The company benefits are also great, they take health and wellbeing seriously.

Cons

so far, nothing to improve from a personal perspective. I would love to see the company investing in more upper funnel marketing activity in the future to raise more awareness about how good the brand is.

Does Wesleyan offer unlimited holiday?

Pros

Not sure there really is any

Cons

No work life balance, poor pay, staff treated and expected to perform like robots, don’t even offer permanent roles to temporary staff when available. Huge turn over of staff. Nothing but sideways steps available unless you are a favourite. Part time staff favoured for holiday above full time staff who have to pull extra hours for the excessive sick leave taken by part timers which never seems to be reviewed however 3 days off for full time staff requires a review. Seen as nothing but a phone droid by the whole business

Does Wesleyan offer relocation assistance?

Pros

Work life balance. Not a lot of stress other than that which you caused yourself by tearing your hair out. Financially secure company. Good benefits package. Great location. Some lovely people there. Good charity work.

Cons

CEO has been there way way too long, fixed narrow corridor of views, has deeply over complicated the company which is mired in complexity and opaqueness. Company has a very small customer base but insists on making most of what it sells, meaning poor value for money. IT system terrible. Guess what ... Wesleyan built it themselves. CEO thinks he can build anything. Most areas of the business seem to actually lose money but the murky financial reporting model hides this. Deliberately? Company has grown complacent with all the money it has 'inherited'. Middle management nearly all too afraid to upset the CEO at risk of getting booted off the lucrative gravy train. CEO says jump, they say how high then tell the people below them to jump. Not allowed to feed back up the chain for fear of upsetting the big boss, so lots of jumping going on whether or not it makes sense. A lot of people that have been there a long time, many wouldn't survive in real world or at least would have a massive wake up call. Many people there who seemed to add no real value on very decent salaries. People in middle or senior management quite often vanish from the business. Lots of ivory towers.

Advice to Management

Need fresh and clued up senior management and CEO. Develop a genuine challenger culture. Be more transparent about the financials and stop fudging it.

Good benefits package.
