Cons

The company seems to have grown very fast and some of the processes are just catching up with the size, which means there's a lot of change taking place at the moment.

What kind of career opportunities exist at White Clarke Group?

Pros

Network with other areas of the business and clients. Opportunity of progression.

Cons

Seems the impression is, people are too busy to transfer knowledge\ receive such knowledge. A lot of relevant meetings to attend and sometimes no real opportunity to have a sufficient break when having to cover for a team.

Advice to Management

Engagement and communication are always helpful. However the approach of taking a step back and allowing people to be assertive, liaise with other areas and attend such meetings are always beneficial.

Pros

flat org structure, very visible board of directors, who are engaging and approachable. People help each other out, when the pressure hits.

Cons

resource levels are critical in some projects which means delivery timelines are under huge amounts of pressure to deliver

resource appropriately, and set more realistic delivery timescales.

How is management perceived at White Clarke Group?

Pros

The people in the business are very passionate about their work and go out of their way to help you in any way they can. And people are being recognised for their efforts and there are many ways to develop your career and travel to the other offices around the world. The flexible working hours are also great, and the private medical insurance is a bonus. The board of management is very approachable and you can talk to them any time and discuss with them issues and bounce ideas. The company cares about work life balance and often hosts events where families are invited. There is also a social calendar and clubs for all sorts of interests and hobbies, i.e., book club, film club, cricket, etc and a fizz Friday every month.

Cons

Although WCG is a company that offers a competitive salary, the benefits could improve.

Advice to Management

Work on your benefits for employees.

The board of management is very approachable and you can talk to them any time and discuss with them issues and bounce ideas.
